| Nestled
along the southeastern coastline of the rainforests of Maui is the beautiful
and restful community of Hana. Verdant greenery and waterfalls accompanied by
phenomenal ocean vistas, Hana, Maui is truly one of the most remarkable places
on earth. |
 |
 |
The
exciting journey to Hana starts at the beginning of the Hana Highway near the
Maui Airport in Kahului. |
| After
leaving Kahului, you will travel through Pa'ia, a historical sugar plantation
community. |
 |
 |
The next
point of interest on your journey will be Ho'okipa Beach Park. It is the home
of the some of the finest windsurfing in the world, which is why the
international championships are held there. |
| As you
proceed over the next few miles, you will find the highway becomes more
challenging, filled with endless curves and one-lane bridges. Many of the
bridges host exquisite waterfalls and reflective swimming pools. (Should you
decide to swim in the pools, ALWAYS check for depth before you jump in. We
experience many accidents each year,; please protect yourself and the people
with you!) |
